In Australia, Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions have been a key provider of vocational tertiary education, building the nation’s base of trained professionals in a wide array of vocational areas.
These institutions have over the years produced remarkable individuals who have excelled in their respective fields of work and industries.
AFE offer a wide range of awards and recognition to students enrolled in Universities across the country. The “2015 TAFE Queensland Skills Tech Electrotechnology Awards Night” held at the campus in Bracken Ridge is one such initiative.
Testo Australia has been instrumental in sponsoring apprentice of the year awards for a number of years in many training organisations. Winners of this annual award receive instruments introducing them to the latest technology in their chosen field of education.
Apprentices are assessed not only on their scholastic achievements but also their attitude and high ideals of dedication in the area they are working in.
This year’s awards ceremony was held at TAFE Skills Tech Bracken Ridge campus on 29th October 2015. Our General Manager Lucas Bogtstra was present to personally provide his support and present the award to this year’s 4th year refrigeration apprentice for 2015 to Michael McGregor, from Mount Isa Mines Limited.
“Testo would like to congratulate Michael McGregor on his achievement and we hope the set of electronic refrigeration gauges come to good use in his employment”
