Scitech announces the launch of Dolan-Jenner’s
new Fiber-Lite MiLED fibre optic illuminator for microscopy and general
illumination applications. The energy-efficient MiLED features cool white LED
lighting with a colour temperature of 5000K.
Designed primarily for microscopy
applications, Fiber-Lite MiLED fibre optic illuminators can support and fully
illuminate goose-neck and annular ring light fibre optics. Additionally, it’s also
a great solution for inspection equipment, forensics, machine vision,
industrial borescopes, assembly stations and OEM custom lighting.
Key benefits of Fiber-Lite MiLED
fibre optic illuminators include LED lighting offering energy-efficient,
cost-saving alternative requiring less power while delivering higher
performance than comparable 150W halogens; practically maintenance-free operation
with no lamps or lamp sockets to wear out; and rated to provide over 40,000
hours of light compared to a 150W halogen offering only 200 hours of light.
