New EXAIR digital control protecting electronics from heat

Compressed Air Australia announces a new digital control from EXAIR
designed for dual cabinet cooler systems installed on large or high heat load

EXAIR’s digital ETC (Electronic Temperature Control) will keep
electrical enclosures cool while minimising compressed air use. The ETC dual
cabinet cooler system produces -7¡C air to eliminate high temperature
malfunctions and protect sensitive electronics from harsh environments. They
are available in cooling capacities up to 5,600 Btu/Hr.

EXAIR’s digital ETC accurately maintains constant temperature in the
electrical enclosure slightly under the maximum rating of the electronics. The
digital control allows sufficient cooling for the electronics without going so
cold as to waste compressed air. A digital LED readout displays the temperature
of the electrical enclosure in ¡C or ¡F, then displays the user temperature
setting on pressing the ‘push to set’ button. Exceeding this setting will
activate the cabinet cooler system.

The ETC is suitable for NEMA 4, 4X and 12 environments and works with EXAIR’s
UL listed dual cabinet cooler systems available in cooling capacities of 4,000,
4,800 and 5,600 Btu/Hr. An automatic drain filter separator is provided with
the cabinet cooler systems to keep moisture in the compressed air out of the
enclosure. The ETC is offered for 120 VAC or 240 VAC while cabinet cooler
systems of lower cooling capacities are also available. All products are CE
