Metromatics releases new smaller colour label printers

The QuickLabel Kiaro! 50D is a compact, tough and durable colour label
printer designed to print small labels for industrial environments.

The new range of inkjet colour label printers uses QuickLabel’s pigment
ink formulation to produce small printed labels that resist scratches, scrapes,
spills and scuffs, which may occur during shipping. The compact Kiaro! 50D is
an easy fit in small workspaces that cannot accommodate larger label printers.

Compatible with matte polypropylene and paper label materials, the Kiaro!
50D produces tough labels that don’t need to be laminated. The Kiaro! 50D is
ideal for printing small GHS labels with red and black pictograms that also have
brand logos and product graphics in full CMYK colour.

These label printers are recommended for printing colour labels on
demand in moderate volumes including medical device labels, clinical trial
labels, pharmaceutical labels, patient wristbands, supply chain ‘pick and pack’
or ‘track and trace’ labels, and labels for applications that require printed
labels to endure environmental challenges such as exposure to chemicals,
solvents, moisture, or abrasion.

Key features of the Kiaro! 50D inkjet colour label printers include
printing speed of 68 labels per minute (based on a 2″ x 4″ label); compact size
measuring about 10″ high and weighing just over 10 lbs. (4.53kg); quiet
printing making it perfectly suitable for office use where noisier machines can
cause disruption and discomfort; connectivity USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, RJ-45
connection; print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi; print modes 1200 x 1200 dpi
(Best), 600 x 600 dpi (Fast); and built-in cutter.

The Kiaro! 50D prints edge-to-edge, full-bleed labels with maximum print
width of 1.93″ and print length of 15.63″.
