Leading Australian retailer installs space efficient concertina security doors at stores

Concertina security doors from The Australian Trellis Door Company
(ATDC) have been installed across a network of stores belonging to Global
Retail Brands, one of Australia’s fastest growing homeware and kitchenware

ATDC’s space-efficient concertina security doors are now protecting Robin’s
Kitchen and House stores in the Global Retail Brands portfolio across
Australia. The doors were specified by well-known Melbourne-based retail and
commercial design specialist ACRD.

ATDC’s S07-2 side-by-side stacking concertinasecurity doors are very popular in the commercial door closure segment for
their space efficiency. Configured on a parallel set of tandem top tracks, these
concertina security doors fold back to just 8 per cent of the total opening
width. Secure full height up/down locking mechanisms and the absence of floor
tracks help create a seamless effect with a completely clear and open obstruction-free
shopfront during trading hours. Where required, curved or S-bend configurations
with 90-degree turns over a 600mm radius can be achieved for securing curved

ATDC’s concertina security doors do not require any headroom and can
span unlimited widths, offering an important advantage to designers and
retailers. The doors can be supplied to a maximum height of 4200mm. With an open
grille design, these doors maximise the display of merchandise even when the
store is closed for business.

ATDC is working with some of Australia’s leading shop-fitters including
Melbourne-based firms Clarke & Doggett and One68 on this prestigious
rollout for Global Retail Brands.

ATDC’s extensive range of concertina security doors is now available for
sale in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Darwin, Newcastle,
Geelong and Townsville as well as all regional towns and centres across
Australia. The range includes commercial, industrial and residential doors.
