Interworld Electronics unveils ATEX certified stainless steel panel PC

Interworld Electronics presents a new range of ATEX certified stainless
steel panel PCs designed for Group 1 Zone 2 hazardous areas that may be exposed
to gases or vapours.

The new AEx-P526 Series ATEX EN 60079-15 certified stainless steel panel
PC is totally sealed to IP65 specifications on all sides making it suitable for
use in hose-down environments. All external I/O, including the DC power input, serial,
Ethernet and USB ports use M12 waterproof sealed connectors.

Key features of the AEx-P526 Series stainless steel panel PCs include state-of-the-art
embedded PC; 15″ 400 cd/m_ LCD in a thin fanless stainless steel enclosure
measuring only 399(W) x 324(H) x 63(D)mm; Intel Atom D2550 1.8GHz processor supporting
up to 4GB of 800MHz DDR3 memory; 15″ LCD providing a maximum resolution of
1024 x 768 pixels; rear panel waterproof sealed I/O connectors provided for 2x
USB 2.0 ports, 2x COM ports, 1x RJ-45 LAN port and DC input power; and internal
2.5″ SATA2 drive bay supporting HD or SSD storage with internal SD and
Mini PCIe slots provided for system expansion.

The AEx-P526 Series panel PCs provide a
long-term reliable computing solution for hazardous mining and industrial
process control applications as well as marine environments and food processing
plants using sanitised equipment.
