Dino Alessio, Product Manager for Rotary Screw Compressors at CAPS explains
that the new additions to the Ingersoll Rand R-Series range offer compressed
air users many of the advanced features that were only previously available in Ingersoll
Rand’s larger 90-160 kW compressors.
Ingersoll Rand R-Series 30-37 kW compressors support access to the Xe-Series
controller allowing users to communicate, control and view data from any PC,
tablet or smartphone via the Internet, and also enabling automatic email
notifications of trips and warnings to designated maintenance personnel.
V-Shield technology is a superior configuration using stainless steel
pipes, durable metal-flex hoses and a vibration isolation system that creates a
leak-free compressor package, which has been used extensively across the 90-160
kW R-Series and is now available in the R-Series 30-37 kW range. Sequential
cooling significantly increases uptime by avoiding the thermal stress that can
compromise the reliability of integrated coolers.
Alessio adds that PAC protection, which is an integrated and intelligent
system, helps users continuously monitor key operating parameters and adapt to
prevent unexpected downtime, guaranteeing onsite reliability.
Ingersoll Rand 55-75 kW R-Series variable speed
drive compressors are recommended for users with smaller compressed air
requirements to meet varying operational needs throughout the day. The premium
efficiency of this range can greatly help companies achieve energy savings as
it quickly adapts its air output to suit site requirements.
