EXAIR has released a new no drip spray nozzle designed to conserve
liquid and operate in space-constrained applications.
The patented º” no drip internal mix deflected flat fan atomising spray
nozzle atomises fluid and sprays at a right angle to the nozzle orientation,
allowing the spray to be placed precisely where it is needed. This is
particularly useful in applications involving tight spaces.
Similar in operation to EXAIR’s standard atomising nozzles, the new no
drip model has the added benefit of positively stopping liquid flow when
compressed air is shut off.
Most operators are aware of the problem of post-spray liquid flow in any
spray application, especially because unwanted drips can ruin product function
on sealing or mating surfaces. Drips can also spoil the appearance of painted
or coated finishes as well as cause wastage of precious resources such as
expensive coatings, chemicals or water.
Recommended for applications where no post-spray drip is permissible, EXAIR’s
no drip atomising nozzles positively seal off the flow of liquid when the
compressed air supply is shut off, eliminating the possibility of drips.
EXAIR’s no drip internal mix atomising nozzles are available in five
patterns: narrow angle round pattern, wide angle round pattern, flat fan
pattern, deflected flat fan pattern and 360¡ hollow circular pattern. These are
for pressure fed applications that don’t require independent air and liquid
The internal mix, external mix, no drip external mix, siphon fed and no
drip siphon fed nozzles are available in º” or _Ó options.
EXAIR’s no drip atomising nozzles find application in painting, coating,
rinsing, cooling, quenching, wetting (moistening), humidification and dust
control. Fully adjustable to minimise air and liquid consumption, the compact
atomising nozzles have interchangeable liquid and air caps.
All no drip liquid nozzles are CE compliant and conflict mineral-free.
