Dual Valves Australasia adds a range of self flushing inline 3-way dosing valves to eDart’s extensive range of slurry related products. eDart dosing valves are used to neutralise tailings or to control the pH of the medium.
Typically, rock lime (alkaline) in a ring main is continuously pumped around the circuit to prevent it from settling down and separating. Normally a T piece is inserted into the line with the flow controlled using a standard valve such as a knife valve or butterfly valve. When the valve is closed, the line fills up with the stagnant lime and blocks.
eDart’s dosing valve eliminates this by being located directly in the ring main. As the valve opens the vertical take-off line fills up. When closed, the line gravity flushes out, preventing solidification in the pipe.
The dosing valves are available in various materials of construction to suit the specific process requirement. Various sizes are available as standard and can be customised to the application.
