CAA releases back blow air nozzle

Compressed Air Australia has launched a new range of back blow air
nozzles from EXAIR designed for cleaning inside pipes or hoses.

EXAIR’s new º” back blow air nozzle can be used to effectively blow
debris and liquids from pipe or hose inside diameters, channels, bores, holes,
internal threads and other internal part features. A forceful 360-degree
airflow directed through an array of holes on the nozzle clears out coolant,
chips and light oils from machining processes. Debris is prevented from blowing
further into a part, tube or pipe by the nozzle, eliminating any safety hazard.

Key features of EXAIR’s Model 1006SS back blow air nozzles include small
profile, easily fitting inside openings as small as 7/8″ and diameters up to 4″;
type 316 stainless steel construction providing durability and superior
resistance to corrosion; simple installation with secure fit assured using 5/8″
flats milled on the body; low sound level at 80 dBA meeting OSHA noise
requirement 29 CFR 1910.95(a); CE compliance; and extension pipes from 6″ to
72″ available to provide necessary reach for longer tube and pipe clean out.

Since the airflow is
directed back towards the operator, EXAIR recommends the use of personal
protective equipment. Chip shields to protect the operator from the exiting
debris are also available.
