Backplane Systems Technology releases Perfectron’s LIF Series of rugged touch panel computers

Backplane Systems Technology introduces a new range of rugged fanless touch
panel computers from Perfectron featuring Intel CPUs.

Perfectron’s LIF Series of rugged touch panel computers is built for
tough industrial conditions associated with automation, HMI and warehouse
management applications. Key features include support for a wide operating
temperature range and wide voltage input range 9V-24V DC/ 100V -240V AC
(optional); ability to operate perfectly in an extended temperature environment
from -30¡C up to +60¡C with DC input; specially designed anti-removable USB
port at the rear providing a secure space for a USB connection; and rich I/O
features such as VGA, DVI, COM, LAN, USB, audio, and mPCIe expansion slot.

Based on the Intel Atom/ Core i7 processor, the LIF Series panel PCs feature
a high-brightness LCD panel for easy readability under industrial conditions.
The 15” LCD supports XGA resolution (1024 x 768) with 5-wire resistive touch.
The wide range voltage input allows customers to choose the type of power
supply based on their requirement and also protects the system against damage from
unstable power supply.

LIF Series’ special anti-removable USB 2.0 port on the rear side of the chassis
can be closed with its cover using screws. In addition to providing a secure
space for a USB connection, the cover feature offers better resistance against dust,
making the panel computers very suitable for outdoor applications.
