testo releases industrial flue gas analysers

testo 340 flue gas analysers are designed to help industrial
companies utilising internal combustion to keep their systems within the
optimum operational parameters.

Variations in flue gas can often lead to an engine losing its
effectiveness, and ultimately, hamper productivity and general output. With
its ability to precisely measure emissions, the testo 340 flue gas
analyser for industry helps prevent the occurrence of such problems.

The testo 340 flue gas analyser is designed for user-friendly
operation, combining a compact design with reliable technology to allow the
operator to easily register and record accurate measurements.

The testo 340 has the capacity to house up to four gas
sensors. While the oxygen sensor comes as standard, the user can add carbon
monoxide, nitrogen oxide, nitrogen dioxide or sulphur dioxide sensors to suit
requirements. The analyser is also suitable for measuring low
concentrations of carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxide with optional high
accuracy sensors.

Key features of testo 340 flue gas analysers also include optional
automatic measuring range extension, which extends the particular sensor’s spectrum
of readings by a factor of two; automatic sensor protection preventing
overloading even under added strain at high gas concentrations; and easy Emission
software deciphering the information to find the root cause of any issues.

Single slot dilution to a factor of five is provided as standard and can
be used to also extend the measuring range of the carbon monoxide sensor to
50,000 ppm; nitrogen oxide sensor to 20,000 ppm; and sulphur dioxide sensor to
25,000 ppm.

Readings are shown in table or graph form, and can even be made
available online through Bluetooth wireless transmission or USB connection. The
data can be implemented into individual formulas, which will take into account
any specific fuels and easily pinpoint inefficiencies.

The testo 340 flue gas analysers are
made even more versatile with a number of probes available for use in tandem
with the instrument. Different flue gas probe lengths, diameters and
temperature tolerances all add up to a flexible solution applicable across
many industries.
