has introduced the new Manitransit range of truck mounted forklift (TMT). The TMT range allows full working autonomy and constant flexibility, coupled with increased effectiveness to provide a competitive edge in business.
Due to the TMT's size, maneuverability and speed, it can be used in a range of industries including the delivery of bricks, turf, poultry, and scaffolding.
Peter Kempton of Mycorp Australia, delivers bricks around the Brisbane metropolitan area and finds the TMT to be safe, efficient and maneuverable. Kempton explains 'before purchasing my new TMT I used a loader crane. Since converting my truck and purchasing the TMT I have found it to be much more efficient'.
The truck mounted forklift is fully operational within one minute and is capable of moving a load across the width of a trailer deck without any additional accessory and with optimum visibility. This is because of two innovative Manitou technologies: the telescopic boom and integral lateral side shift.
Kempton comments 'I can place bricks into position around building sites and load both sides of my truck from the curb with the telescopic boom and lateral side shift. Delivering in a metropolitan area has its challenges but with the TMT I am always able to unload from the curb and avoid these challenging situations'.
Due to the TMT's powerful engine the machine performs at its best in rough terrain. As well as speed, accuracy, and a reduction in operational costs, the Manitransit range places safety in the forefront .
All machines are placed through rigorous stability tests from design to delivery.
New South Wales industrial dealer of Manitou products, NTP, will showcase the TMT at the Landscape Australia Expo Industry Exhibition and Conference. This year's Expo will be held at Sydney Showgrounds, Sydney Olympic Park, from July 27 to 28.
