The Australia/New Zealand Chapter of the Supply-Chain Council (SCC) will present the Supply-Chain Operations Reference-model (SCOR®) Framework 8.0 Workshop on 19-20 February and the Implementation 8.0 Workshop on 21-22 February 2007 at the Sydney Business School (Sydney Australia) taught by international Supply-Chain Council certified instructor Joe Francis, who is also Chief Technology Officer for Supply-Chain Council and former chairman of the Supply-Chain Council SCORBoard.
The Supply-Chain Council is a global, not-for-profit trade association open to all types of organizations. It sponsors and supports educational programs including conferences, retreats, benchmarking studies, and development of the SCOR-model.
The Council is dedicated to improving the supply chain efficiency of its practitioner members.SCOR has been developed by the Supply-Chain Council to describe the business activities associated with all phases of satisfying a customer’s demand.
The Model itself is organized around the five primary management processes of PLAN, SOURCE, MAKE, DELIVER, and RETURN. By describing supply chains using these process building blocks, the Model can be used to describe supply chains that are very simple or very complex using a common set of definitions.
The SCOR 8.0 Framework Workshop is a completely revised introduction to the concepts of supply-chain design, measurement and management from a SCOR perspective, from metrics benchmarking to translation of strategy into operations.
The SCOR 8.0 Implementation Workshop is a new course focused on detailed execution of a top-down SCOR-based supply-chain strategic transformation program.
Anyone involved with supply chain management or who can benefit from increasing their organization’s supply chain efficiency.
Fee includes all programming, speaker materials, educational materials and continental breakfast and lunch each day. Register now for the upcoming workshop, more information available through the Supply-Chain Council website.
