Orbit Communications supply a range of handheld wireless transmitters that includes the RMT151, capable of housing up to eight function buttons.
These handheld wireless transmitters are suitable for a wide range of applications that include:
- remote truck fill control
- manual crusher plant operation
- wireless hoist control
- remote gate control
- remote conveyor ON/OFF and speed control; and
- general purpose remote ON/OFF and speed control.
Housed in an IP65 rated rugged enclosure with a white powder coat finish and PolyCarbonate label, these handheld wireless transmitters measure 115mm x 90mm x 55mm.
Button labels and functions can be customised to suit specific needs.
These transmitters are supplied with a stubby flexible whip antenna, and will work in conjunction with the range of RTU151 series wireless IO units from Orbit Communications.
The transmitter is powered by 4 x AAA batteries and has a front panel LED that gives low battery indication when battery requires replacement.
Typical battery life is from six to twelve months, with a maximum operating range of 500m to 1km line of sight.
Practical indoor range is reduced dependant on environment and may typically be around 100-200m.
