has developed an ozone module as an add-on option for Ultraspin vehicle wash water reclaim systems to disinfect the recycled water that is used by the car wash equipment.
The Ultraspin vehicle wash water reclaim system treats the wash water through a four stage separation process:
Stage 1: Removal of light contaminants, such as grease, oil and wax, with the Ultraspin Oily Water Separator
Stage 2: Removal of heavy contaminants, such as solids particles, with the Ultraspin Solids Separator.
Stage 3; Removal of neutrally buoyant contaminants such as organics and dirt heavily coated in oil by foam separation of contaminants.
Stage 4: Injection of clean air into the water entering the Ultraspin re-use tank, via an air blower, increases the oxygen content of the water. The oxygen keeps the water smelling fresh by keeping it aerobic.
The Ultraspin ozone module can easily be integrated to existing Ultraspin vehicle wash water reclaim systems.
The wall mounted ozone generator creates a corona discharge which produces ozone from air drawn into the Ultraspin vehicle wash water reclaim system. The water is immediately treated with ozone, bleaching it and killing any bacteria present. Additional disinfection occurs when the ozonised water is returned to the Ultraspin re-use tank and allowed to mix with the bulk water in the tank and takes up the remaining ozone and is disinfected.
