have developed two new Marl LEDs to replace MR16 and MR11 bulbs. The new LEDs incorporate the latest LED technology for high performance in accent and general lighting applications.
Marl LED lamps consume less power over the extended operating life (50,000 hours), providing energy cost savings of up to 80% compared to standard dichroic equivalents. When operated for 18 to 24 hours per day, this allows a short payback period of less than one year.
Based on CREE® LED technology, the 256 Series MR16 LED lamp has been developed to interface with all standard MR16 sockets, allowing direct replacement. 256 Series MR16 LED lamps emit light levels equivalent to conventional halogen lamps up to 35W. Warm and cool white 256 Series MR16 LED lamps are available.
256 Series MR16 LED lamps are ideal as fit and forget, maintenance-free replacements for all MR16 type fittings, and have the advantage of emitting zero UV or IR in the light beam, have no moving parts, fragile glass, mercury, toxic gasses, and no filament.
257 Series MR11 LED lamps have been developed to interface with standard MR11 sockets, allowing for direct replacement. Two versions of 257 Series MR11 LED lamps are available: an all-purpose lamp which produces a light output equivalent to a 20W halogen lightbulb and a reading lamp with light output equivalent to a 10W halogen lightbulb.
Both the 256 and 257 Series LED lamps are ideal for architectural, rail, commercial and retail applications.
