Iomega Australia has appointed computer and office automation accessories supplier Daisytek as a key distributor of its products in Australia.
The announcement is designed to further support local resellers and bolster Iomega’s presence in the Australian market, according to Iomega Australia and New Zealand country director Peter Dawson.
“We are very pleased to be partnering with Daisytek in Australia,” Dawson said.
“With the release of several new products in the last six months and with more exciting developments on the horizon, the timely appointment of Daisytek will provide the added expertise we need to broaden the reach of our distribution channel and enhance the accessibility of our products.”
Iomega, which recently introduced a new range of portable high-storage Peerless hard drives, will significantly benefit under this new announcement from Daisytek’s strong relationship with resellers, according to Daisytek managing director Paul Connelly.
“As a company that specialises in enterprise-wide storage solutions, Iomega’s products make an important and logical addition to our range,” Connelly said.
“We believe that Iomega’s complete range of removable storage solutions will be very attractive to our existing customers.”
