Enviro Pallets’ growth demands second shift

The family-owned company which operates out of Glendenning in Sydney’s west is quickly becoming a major player in the Australian pallet industry.

In the 2006 calendar year, Enviro Pallets recycled 302,452 softwood and hardwood pallets, a jump of 22% on the previous year’s figures.

Enviro’s managing director, Mark Duffin, says those figures will be easily surpassed in 2007 and is predicting Enviro Pallets will recycle well over the 350,000 mark by year’s end’.

Matching those booming recycling figures is the continued rise in the sale of new timber pallets as Enviro’s client-base increases due to the quality of product, sales, prompt delivery and service.

Enviro Pallets’ operations manager, Alex Cameron, says he will be surprised if (the new timber pallet) sale figures do not increase by 25% this calendar year.

“Bolstering those figures is a new deal we have just signed to provide a substantial number of heavy-duty hardwood pallets to a one Australia’s major companies,” Cameron said.
