Western Sydney Manufacturing Week 2006 will be launched by David Campbell, Minister for Small Business and Regional Development, Minister for Water Utilities, and Minister for the Illawarra, at a free seminar on Tuesday May 30, from 8.30am-2pm.

The Sustainability in Manufacturing, Issues and Solutions for Green Productive Profit seminar forms part of Western Sydney Manufacturing Week, and will be located at the Western Sydney Business Centre in Parramatta.

Latest issues, approaches, technologies and solutions towards best practice sustainability in the manufacturing process will be explored at this seminar.

Learn how businesses can be cleaner, greener, more productive, and profitable.

The event provides insights into best practice, opportunities and support to develop effective and sustainable manufacturing processes, and will showcase the latest technologies to drive manufacturing sustainability.

The seminar includes key speakers from:

* NSW Department of Environment and Conservation;

* Advanced Manufacturing Centre; and

* Intelligent Manufacturing Systems (IMS) / Australian Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers Association (AEEMA)
