The ShockLog range of impact and environmental recorders have been designed for use in the monitoring of critical goods and equipment that need special care and handling during transportation, storage and use.

These shock recorders provide ongoing monitoring of the intensity and duration of shock and vibration to large stationary or moving equipment, structures, and products. Tri-axial piezo-electric accelerometer technology is used to record impact direction, amplitude, and duration.

ShockLog 298 – The Ultimate in Data Logging
The 298 has been designed to monitor shock and vibration based on acceleration or velocity measurements. The instrument is suitable for protecting high value fixed or mobile installations and investigating shock and vibration during transportation. The comprehensive Windows based software programme allows you to programme your own wake up, warning and alarm levels and frequency of data collection as well as the setting of the Acceleration or Velocity range and Frequency filter. When a programmed impact level is exceeded a visual alarm will alert you as well as storing the data for future analysis

ShockLog 248 – Monitoring Acceleration Measurements
The 248 has been designed to monitor shock and vibration based on acceleration measurements. The comprehensive Windows based software programme allows you to programme your own wake up and alarm levels and frequency of data collection. When a programmed impact level is exceeded a visual alarm will alert you as well as storing the data for future analysis. The ShockLog has the ability to set alarm conditions on any the selected slot data; most parameters have a high and low alarm setting point.

ShockLog 208 – Time Slot Data
The 208 ShockLog is aimed at the entry level market. The advanced tri-axial piezo electric accelerometer technology with sophisticated electronics and software offers an advanced shock and vibration monitoring instrument however the 208 series is restricted to recording time slot data only.

ShockBug – Exceeding Defined G-Force Limits
The ShockBug is designed to record shock events experienced during the transportation, storage and usage of products and equipment. The unit has been designed as an event recorder, providing an accurate record of the date and time at which user defined g force limits are exceeded. These thresholds offer the added advantage, on the Plus model, of being programmable individually for each axis allowing more sensitive axis to be monitored with a lower g level.  The LED indicator on the unit will indicate if an alarm threshold has been breached on any axis

Impact recorders to improve operation and reduce costs

  • Provides a visible deterrent to incorrect operation and handling
  • Decreases costs related to damage incurred during operation, shipping, handling and storage
  • Highlights areas for improvement in operational, shipping and handling processes
  • Isolates when and where unacceptable conditions occur and identifies accountable parties
  • Confirms acceptable conditions during operation, shipping, handling and storage
  • Operational and journey profiling
