The Schenck Process SCC Centrifuge works using the sedimentation principle which involves rapidly vibrated material separating from denser materials.

The vibrated material will fluidise in the centrifuge as a result of frictional forces between particles and the basket being decreased.
The combination of the rotation of the wire basket within the centrifuge and the gravitational forces drive off the surface water and the coal is dried.
  • Easy access with hinged front door
  • Inlet chute is fixed to the door for easy basket removal
  • Mass and spring tuned so that excitation frequency is below resonance frequency
  • Peak loads momentarily increase vibration to stop blockages
  • Left or right hand drive available
  • High alumina wear liners provide longer service life
Schenck are a globally recognised company with customers in more than 100 countries.  Schenck Process' products have been sold in Australia for more than 25 years.
