Oliver Footwear launched its new WB 34 Series safety and industrial footwear at Safety in Action 2013. In the video embedded below, Ferret.com.au finds out more about the innovative new range of lightweight workboots.

The new Oliver WB 34 Series is a range of lightweight workboots that incorporate new technology features designed to add superior, affordable comfort and safety protection for the wear. There are 16 different style choices in the range to meet the specific needs of every type of vocation and workplace conditions.

The new footwear has a scientifically designed tread pattern that exceeds the slip requirements of industry standards AS/NZS 2210.3:2009 and EN ISO 20345:2011. The range also meets Electrical Hazard (EH) resistance requirements.

All safety boots in the 34 Series include a heat resistant outer sole capable of withstanding up to 130°C of surface contact and resistance to mineral and organic oils and acids. Comfort features include a unique comfort foot bed with perforated foam channels to enhance natural airflow to the feet.

The full lining of the boots is also treated with the AEGIS Microbe Shield solution to protect against odour, staining and deterioration caused by bacteria and microorganisms.

For additional safety, NATUREform safety steel toe caps are also incorporated, with a wider profile for extra comfort for the wearer.

Unique HYDROstop protection offers a three year guarantee against the effects of hydrolysis that can be a recurrent condition in hot and humid climatic conditions.

Oliver Footwear has recently added two new safety footwear models to the WB 34 Series in response to customer feedback. The Oliver 34-632P is a wheat ankle high lace-up boot and the 34-634P is a black ankle high lace-up boot.
