Mulders introduces retractable awning
Retractable awning
The retractable awnings can extend the living area. When the retractable awnings are extended, no other supports are needed.
Mulders has introduced a new retractable awning which is hidden away in a contemporary, low profile box once retracted.
The new design has a cassette top box which fully encloses the awning’s roller, fabric, arms and motor.
The slender profile of the box ensures integration with any façade. Providing weather protection for the awning, this new design is suitable for beachside homes with sand and salt winds.
Mulders can also specially weld awning fabrics to hide any unsightly sewing seams. Sewn seams can be visible in harsh sunlight. Welded seams give a smooth, clean finish to the Awning material.
Mulders awnings are fully retractable and made from sun and rain resistant fabrics. The retractable awnings can significantly increase the living area by providing extra shade. The retractable awnings are for patios, terraces, swimming pools and restaurants. Mulders also has a special slim line version for compact areas.
Mulders’ awnings are made to withstand harsh sun. The cantilever design is supported by strong spring tensioned arms. Full control can be had over the shade area with easy to use fully motorised or crank handle systems. Mulders’ motorised awnings include wind sensors which conveniently extend or retract the awning automatically. All materials are designed to resist sun and rain. Mulders uses high quality UV stabilised thread or high frequency welding to give clean, durable seams.
Mulders has a range of over 500 colour options with total block out, partial blackout or semi transparent materials available.
A number of useful optional extras are available: remote control operation, sun and wind sensors, and adjustable pitches. All Mulders awnings are custom-made to suit specific requirements.
