Lencrow Materials Handling introduced the new Bomaq B30MP all terrain forklift at the Hire and Rental Industry Association (HRIA) show on the Gold Coast recently.

Lencrow’s Bomaq B30MP attracted a lot of attention at the HRIA event with unique features such as a 2600mm turning circle in both 4wd and 2wd modes as well as twin joystick operation controlled by pilot pressure hydraulics. Recommended as an entry model for the hire and rental industry, the new all terrain forklifts also offer the comforts of a large open cabin and low entry height.

Designed in the south of Spain by Antonio Martínez, an engineer specialising in off road forklifts, the Bomaq B30MP was created with a key objective to address customer feedback on previous all terrain forklifts. Following three years of development, the B30MP was selected by Ross Grassick from Lencrow in Australia who was looking for an alternative unit that ticked all the boxes in terms of design and capabilities.

According to Ross Grassick, the Bomaq B30MP’s unique ability to work in confined spaces makes it suitable for both building and multipurpose sites. The new all terrain forklifts also ticked all the boxes for ease of operation, quality components and sound manufacture, and ease of service.

The Bomaq B30MP is powered by the 400 series naturally aspirated Perkins diesel engine and uses the proven Linde hydrostatics. The smooth power torque provided by this combination gives an exceptional top speed of 24Km/h through the two speed transmission while allowing 35% gradient climbing full loaded in low range.

Antonio decided to build the unit as a 3000kg unit, with the footprint the same as a large 2500kg unit. Future releases of the forklift include a 5000kg model scheduled for September.
