Specialist provider of rigging and materials handling equipment for hire, Kennards Lift & Shift, has moved their Sydney hire centre to larger premises in a more centralised location.

Located at 22 Fariola Street, Silverwater, the new hire centre is situated in a factory complex near the M4 motorway. The new outlet is quicker, as well as easier, for customers to access and also offers better parking facilities.

The spacious new hire centre facilitates storage of more equipment that can be quickly and efficiently supplied to customers through pick-up or delivery.

Kennards Lift & Shift managing director Allen Besseling said the business outgrew the Rydalmere site from which it operated for the past seven years.

“We have added so many new types of equipment since then it got to the point where we had equipment spread between three buildings,” he said.

“Now, it is all under one roof, which makes for a much more efficient operation.”

Phone, fax and email details of the company remain unchanged at the new location.

Kennards Lift & Shift also operates other outlets in Wollongong in NSW, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, in addition to the new branch in Brisbane at 59 Balham Road, Rocklea.

Customers seeking detailed information of the Kennards Lift & Shift range of equipment for hire are provided with a new, glove box sized edition of the catalogue.

Some of the equipment supplied by the company includes:

  • crawler cranes
  • hydraulic torque tools
  • cable pullers
  • cable crimpers and cutters
  • electro drive tugs
  • telehandlers
  • counter-weighted gantries
  • facade lifters; and
  • 12V glass lifters.

Kennards Lift & Shift also offers an extensive range of pneumatic chain hoists, air winches and crane rig release systems.
