Counter-weighted lifting arm

Supplier News

A PIECE of equipment that doesn't get the attention and publicity it deserves is the counter weighted arm available from Kennards Lift and Shift.

This piece of equipment, also known as an external prop, for its mobile lifting ability, gives a mounting point for a hoist when its required out doors, and is ideal when no anchor point exists.

It basically is a free standing tripod which can have a hoist or minifor attached to enable it to lift various loads of up to 150kg in the outdoors from any height. When the load reaches the top, the pivot arm can then be rotated to place the load safely away from the edge.

The major advantage about it is its ability to lift over edges and its features eliminate the need for the use of a crane. Breaking down into 20kg increments and designed for quick assembly it is not only easy to use but easily transportable too.

Kennards Lift and Shift realised the advantages of this new product and believed it was a piece of equipment that would benefit the building industry greatly. Believing it should not be sitting in the shadows of other equipment, they have brought it into their wide range of equipment and made it available for hire.

" We always look for different types of equipment that could make our customers jobs easier. The counter weighted arm has been successful in its homeland, and we wanted to bring its success here," Allen Besseling from Kennards Lift and Shift said.
