RFID-ready printers to be displayed at Impetus 2008 Expo by insignia

insignia  will be demonstrating the functionality of their RFID-ready label printers, namely the Datamax H-Class label printer and M-Class label printer ranges, as well as the printing of RFID labels and tags at the Impetus 2008 conference Expo. As a special offer, insignia will offer a 15 per cent discount on all RFID-ready printers bought at Impetus 2008.

According to Brad Jeavons, insignia’s National Sales Manager for Labelling Systems, insignia will be showcasing Datamax thermal desktop label printers, O’Neil wireless portable printers, blank labels and RFID labels and tags. RFID can provide enhanced traceability, storage and retrieval of information, and enhanced inventory tracking.

RFID can improve supply chain management by providing a more precise method of tracking. RFID labels and tags can retrieve information fast, can read more effectively and add further information. Brad Jeavons also stated that insignia aligns with companies such as Avery Dennison, Datamax and O’Neil, which means insignia can offer the highest quality products and cutting-edge technology.

This is backed up by insignia’s national service infrastructure, fully trained technicians and Business Development Managers that know what technology is right for any given application. Impetus 2008, Australia’s premier supply chain conference, will be held at the Sofitel, Melbourne.
