For over 40 years insignia have been dedicated to delivering quality products and service which has helped them to become an award winning label manufacturer.
At the recent 2010 Printing Industries Craftmanship Awards (PICA's), printers of a wide variety of materials across Queensland were able to showcase their work and gain recognition for outstanding skills in the field.
Gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded in 33 categories, naming their recipients as the best in their respective fields.
Of the two categories they entered, Flexographic Printing and Roll-Fed Labels, insignia won four of the six medals up for grabs, including a highly coveted gold medal.
The medals awarded to insignia for their label manufacturing expertise were:

“Our investment in machinery, technology and training has made this possible but also, our people with the passion and commitment they bring each and every day - everyone is part of the success,” says Winson.
“We’re always striving to improve and evolve to meet the needs of our customers and our recent expansion of premises and manufacturing in Melbourne further strengthens our commitment to deliver tried and true, quality labels each and every time,” he adds.
In 2009, the Fletcher's Foods "Kalmata Olives" label won the prestigious “Best in Show” and Gold Medal in the Flexo - Colour Process category at the Label and Tag Manufacturer’s Association (LATMA’s), so winning another gold at the PICA’s in 2010 just demonstrates the consistent quality each and every time insignia manufacture a label.
The Fletcher's Foods "Kalmata Olives" label was designed using Esko Software, specifically suited to flexo-printing and graphic enhancement. The label is made on an eight-colour Mark Andy UV Press. The resulting finish is a label which fulfils its role as brand custodian for Fletchers Foods’ product.
