Insignia and Domino released a set of new products at the 2011 AUSPACK PLUS exhibition early this year. The products included a new ink jet printer, laser coder and thermal transfer printer.
The A320i ink jet printers are designed to perform at optimum levels. Featuring a unique print head called SureStart with a nozzle sealing and flushing process, the printers offer consistent performance.
According to Ingo Waldeck, Domino laser product manager, the new D-Series D120i and D320i laser coders are known for providing ‘high-performance, high-quality solution(s) for applying variable alphanumeric text, graphics and 2D Data matrix codes’.
Compared to traditional contact coders such as hot-stamp or roller coders, the V120i digital thermal transfer printers offer high print quality and lower running costs.
The i-Tech Ribbon Drive uses up to 60% less ribbon while downtime caused by ribbon breaks is virtually eliminated by i-Tech’s unique Dancing Arms. No air connection is required thanks to the patented electronic printhead control.
