Name change for LG industrial division


LG Industrial Systems, manufacturers of Starvert variable speed drives, is changing its name to LS Industrial Systems, represented in Australia by iOpen .

This move follows rationalisation within the LG Corporation.

The group has been split into three, to better accommodate the various production focus requirements of a diverse portfolio.

The diversified core businesses are

* LG Electronics

* GS group

* LS Industrial Systems

The changes will not affect the manufacturing of the current range of products.

The LSIS Starvert variable speed drives are supported in Australia by iOpen Pty Ltd, an iGroup Company.

Recently, in addition to Cedes safety products and Contrinex sensors, iOpen has added LSIS Starvert variable speed drives its product range.

Together with iOpen’s other products from GE Fanuc, GE Digital, Emerson Process Management (Fisher Rosemount), PDL Electronics (Schneider), IFM Electronics, and Milltronics (Siemens Process management), enables it to provide complete automation/process control solutions from “best-in-class” manufacturers - all from one supply source.
