Managed and Unmanaged Switches
Weidmuller offers an extensive range of industrially hardened Ethernet switches with
unmanaged and managed capabilities. Both ranges are available in a variety of enclosure
options, including:

- Standard and Extended Temperature Ranges
Port densities range from 3-24 ports and include comprehensive fibre optic support for both multi mode and single mode fibre with SC, ST, LC and SCRJ connections.
Weidmuller’s managed switches feature an integrated web configuration as well as terminal configuration via 232 and USB interfaces.
Industrial Routers and GPRS Alarm Modules
Providing LAN/LAN and LAN/WAN interconnectivity and security, Weidmuller offer a range of industrial routers to suit a variety of application requirements.
Besides traditional routers which interconnect Ethernet networks, routers with integrated modem capabilities are also provided for connection via public networks such as ISDN, PSTN and the GPRS cellular network.
Further complemented by fully integrated remote monitoring solutions such as the GPRS alarm modem, which via integrated I/O can monitor and alert operators of out of band
conditions at a remote site via SMS, Fax, Email or voice.
Converters, ComServers and Wireless Bridges
Weidmuller offers a range of industrial network components for interface conversion and
translation. ComServers provide conversion between the serial and Ethernet world via either hard wired or wireless Ethernet networks.
Media converters provide signal conversion at the media level between copper and fibre optic cabling. WLAN bridges provide a network connection wirelessly without the need to run copper or fibre optic cabling between network nodes. Weidmuller provide solutions for all these applications and media interfaces.
