The HARTING Technology Group announces its participation at the SPS IPC Drives trade fair being held in Nuremberg from 24 to 26 November 2015. The company will be showcasing several innovative products and solutions in Hall 10, Stand 140, including HAII4YOU Factory developments, with the MICA and Infrastructure Box designed for Industry 4.0 applications.

HARTING IIC MICA (Integrated Industry Computer Modular Industry Computing Architecture) is a modular platform comprising of open hardware and software that can be quickly and economically adapted to many industrial application areas, saving the customer time and money.

The Infrastructure Box shows the evolution of a switch cabinet configuration with top-hat-rail-based devices to a highly integrated device design. Customers will be able to flexibly network machines and systems in line with the Industry 4.0 concept in the future.

HARTING’s showcase at the SPS exhibition will also include another solution for the Industry 4.0 environment - the Embedded Transponder Base (ETB), which provides an interface to things that do not have their own IP address. This will allow goods and containers as well as tools or other carriers to be seen, recognised and controlled directly by higher level processes.
