freedom9 has released new freeGuard Blaze 2100 enterprise level firewall.
With 2Gbps firewall throughput and 2Gbps 3DES/AES VPN throughput, the freeGuard Blaze 2100 offers good performance.
“Network security has become a must and it’s not just about keeping your network secure, but also your remote users. With the freeGuard Blaze 2100 you’re getting the best of both worlds, as it offers high performance firewall and VPN throughput in a single device at a competitive price point.” said Scott Barrett President and CEO of freedom9.
Utilising a System on a Chip design, the freeGuard Blaze 2100 does not only offer a high-performance SPI firewall, Denial of Service (DoS) and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Protection, but it also has low power consumption compared to competing solutions.
With a 1U form factor, the freeGuard Blaze 2100 does not occupy unnecessary space in the rack. With eight Gigabit Ethernet and eight SFP ports for optional fibre transceivers (no more than eight concurrent ports can be used), the freeGuard Blaze 2100 offers connectivity flexibility, no matter the infrastructure.
The freeGuard Blaze 2100 is also compatible with multi-vendor networks, for ease of integration.
The freeGuard Blaze 2100 can handle 500,000 concurrent sessions and 20,000 VPN tunnels, without imposing any other limitations.
With an easy to use system management interface that can be remotely accessed via a VPN tunnel, the freeGuard Blaze 2100 is also suitable for remote locations without a local administrator on site.
