EzyStrut offers a wide range of cable support products designed to meet different requirements in cable management.

Making the right selection from EzyStrut’s cable trays, cable mesh and cable ladders depends on cable loads to be supported, cabling depth, bottom profile and even visual appearance.

EzyStrut compares the benefits and applications of their three most popular cable support products below.

Cable Trays

Also known as ‘laddertrays’, cable trays offer continuous support for cables along their entire lengths. Typically supplied in 3m lengths, cable trays are engineered with precision to maximise the strength capability of their steel construction. Fabricated from pre-galvanised steel for a long corrosion-resistant life, cable trays feature a clean, high quality surface to suit inside installations where they may be visible.

Cable trays can also be supplied hot dip galvanised after fabrication to provide a long, corrosion-resistant service life in outdoor installations.

Cable Mesh

EzyMesh cable mesh is a metal wire basket style product suitable for interior installations. Designed to allow for cable dropouts anywhere along the length of the cable, cable mesh offers an ideal solution for cable management in complex sites such as computer server rooms or advanced machinery areas. Cable mesh is offered in 3m lengths, and comes in a choice of steel finishes.

Cable Ladders

Considered the strongest type of cable support product, cable ladders can be made from steel, aluminium or FRP and are supplied in 3m or 6m standard lengths. Recommended for the support of high volumes of heavyweight cables over long distances, cable ladders enable quick installation of complete networks and offer a strong and long-term solution. Cables are supported with rungs welded to the side rails. All cable ladder systems use fittings to facilitate changes between cabling directions and levels.
