Specialist hydraulic sales and service organisation Winnellie Hydraulics has appointed a new bolting specialist who will extend the company’s local expertise to complement advanced bolting technology being introduced to the Northern Territory for major resources and infrastructure projects.
Winnellie has appointed Max Nicholson as its bolting specialist dealing extensively with the global ranges of professional bolting technologies from Enerpac (A Division of Actuant Corp) , which are used to enhance efficiencies, precision and safety on major Northern Territory oil, gas, mining, energy, engineering and infrastructure projects.
According to Enerpac National Bolting Manager Mr Pat Molloy, Winnellie’s appointment of Mr Nicholson to the specialist role after comprehensive training was driven by demand from longstanding customers.
Observing that Winnellie Hydraulics has invested in its people and its capabilities to grow its reputation, resources and skills to be truly world class in its attitude and expertise, Mr Molloy adds that Enerpac’s globally respected brand is in very capable hands.
In addition to providing local product application expertise a high level of customer and product support, Winnellie’s long-established hydraulics servicing team also conducts audits of the tools and verification of tool calibration to ensure accurate and consistent fastening of plant and machinery ranging from pipelines, tanks and pressure vessels through to mobile machinery such as heavy trucks, earthmoving and tracked vehicles during servicing and maintenance.
The Enerpac equipment on which Mr Nicholson has extensive experience including rigid steel torque wrenches, tensioners, nut splitters and pumps, is part of a global family of professional bolting tools engineered to safely and simply streamline and automate many common, time-consuming and potentially hazardous manual maintenance and fabrication tasks.
