Enerpac (A Division of Actuant Corp)  has appointed Alex Janeski as the new Manager, Oil and Gas Industry to support its customer base in the oil, gas and energy sectors as well as extend its global leadership in safety and efficiency-focussed heavy lifting and professional bolting technologies.
Alex Janeski will join a team of Enerpac specialist managers servicing key market sectors and supporting Enerpac’s team of Territory Managers and network of distributors throughout Australasia.
According to Enerpac Australia and New Zealand Regional Manager Tony Brooks, Alex brings valuable experience in the oil, gas, energy, engineering and industrial sectors from his previous engagement with a world leader in industry infrastructure.
He adds that Alex’s combination of formal qualifications and practical experience in project management, lean manufacturing, systems auditing and safety excellence will be particularly valuable to Enerpac customers, which include some of the world’s major resource and energy development organisations.
In addition to expanding Enerpac’s global market leadership in hydraulic high-force tools and lifting technologies, Alex Janeski will provide customers with access to Enerpac Integrated Solutions capabilities, including sophisticated PLC-controlled hydraulic technology that can safely lift, balance, weigh and launch massive resources structures up to 75,000 tons or more.
The technology finds application in petroleum drilling platforms and exploration machinery as well as land-based infrastructure segments such as bridges, wharves, lifting gantries and loading/unloading facilities.
