Enerpac Authorised Distributor Meadow Industries has invested in a second mobile bolting service truck to increase their hydraulic tool service capacity. Following the huge success of their first bolting truck since December 2013, the Broadmeadow, Newcastle-based company decided to go in for a second fully-equipped mobile workstation to help meet market demand for their services.

Meadow Industries uses their bolting trucks to service hydraulic tools on-site for their clients in the mining, energy, infrastructure, civil engineering and construction industries. Mr Matt Moore, General Manager, Meadow Industries explains that the new truck will allow them to extend their services to more industrial sectors; while one truck will focus on mining full-time, the other will cater to industries such as renewable energy, construction, civil engineering, manufacturing and metalworking.

Comprehensively equipped with testing, tool performance verification (to original calibration), certification and other technologies, the mobile bolting service trucks are designed to save time for busy customers by bringing to their workplaces, services vital to equipment safety, reliability and uptime.

According to Mr Moore, their customers value the convenience factor of the trucks, especially since they don’t have to worry about any logistical issues or additional costs to bring in their tools for service. Meadow Industries’ hydraulic tool service capabilities and their fully trained technicians minimise downtime and optimise worker safety for customers, keeping them competitive.

The new workstation includes technology for audits, tool performance verification and certification of all hydraulic tooling commonly deployed on mining, energy and infrastructure construction worksites. These include hydraulic torque wrenches, which require audits and verification of accuracy for optimum performance and safety; hydraulic torque wrench pumps, including air and electric models; pumps of all types, including hand, air, electric and petrol-operated; pullers, benders, presses, nut splitters and spreaders; double and single-acting cylinders and jacks, plus hollow and aluminium cylinders; and hoses and fittings for all hydraulic tools.

Meadow Industries technicians employ proven traceable methods for repairing and verifying precision torque equipment. A compliance certificate is provided on completion of work to help safeguard safety and maintain accurate records.

Enerpac, a world-leading high pressure hydraulic tools specialist has launched a series of safety audits, correct maintenance programmes, and staff training programmes in Australasia to minimise risk and downtime while maximising safety and tool availability.
