element14 Pty Ltd  expands its portfolio of Microchip Technology solutions with the addition of Android development kits and analogue and interface evaluation tools.

element14 has partnered with Microchip in the Far East to deliver Microchip’s development tools for diverse applications such as industrial automation, robotics, medical, lighting and wireless for electronics designers in the region.

Joe Krawczyk, Vice President of Asia Pacific Sales at Microchip Technology believes that their product portfolio and element14’s unique one-stop site deliver a powerful combination of a single destination for research, collaboration and product solutions, helping electronics engineers speed their designs to market.

The Microchip dedicated page on the element14 Community site allows users first-hand access to design resources, technical documents, webinars, product road tests, videos on element14 TV, ‘Ask an Expert’ service from Microchip, and the latest updates on electronics legislation.

The Microchip F1 low voltage evaluation platform is a development tool for enhanced mid-range PIC microcontrollers providing a platform for general purpose and low voltage development. Its integrated functionalities include prototyping area, LCD control, system current monitoring, temperature sensing, real-time clock, LED drive, button control, USB interface, various power sources, and BLDC/ BDC/ Unipolar/ Bipolar motor control.

The Microchip Microstick II delivers an easy-to-use complete development hardware platform for Microchip’s 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers and digital signal controllers. This low-cost highly portable USB-powered kit comes with an integrated debugger/programmer, a DUT socket for easy device swapping, a user LED and reset button.
