element14 Pty Ltd announces the availability of the newest 32-bit XMC1100 evaluation board for industrial applications in motor control, LED and smart sensors.
element14 is stocking the XMC1100 evaluation boards from Infineon, designed to offer 32-bit power to current 8-bit users, and delivering cost-effective, breakthrough performance using 65nm embedded flash production technology and combining an ARM 32-bit processor.
The XMC boot kit features an Infineon XMC1000 microcontroller with 64KB FLASH ARM Cortex-M0 and is suitable for industrial applications such as motor control, LED lighting, digital power conversion, smart sensors and touch control. The boot kit is fully compatible with Arduino Shields.
To overcome the limitations of today’s 8-bit designs, the XMC1100 comes with a detachable SEGGER J-Link debugger and UART virtual COM port, with micro USB connector. Its six user LEDs enable electronics designers to benefit from higher efficiencies and lower cost for their next-generation systems.
