element14 has announced the addition of Helieon sustainable lighting modules to its range, which have been designed to simplify the process of designing, building, replacing and upgrading luminaires.
Offering flexible design options, these lighting modules allow for easy changes to beam angles, colour temperature and light output, and by emulating a traditional lighting socket, deliver a familiar installation experience.
Multiple product options for these modules are all compatible with a single thermal and electronic driver system, allowing for changes to be made post installation.
Sources and fixtures can be separated with the inclusion of separable socketed plug and play solutions incorporating engage and turn technology. This has the effect of emulating traditional lighting, with a familiar turn and click installation process.
The design of these lighting modules ensures uniform high quality illumination, while delivering beam control optics that provide clean white light without pixilation. High system efficacy enables the creation of luminaires with operating efficiencies of >50 Im/W, while meeting or exceeding global regulatory requirements such as Energy Star, Title 24 and Part L, among others.
Applications for Helieon sustainable lighting modules include:
- down lights
- task and accent lighting
- spot and track lights
- troffers and interior-area lighting
- retail and display lighting
- hospitality lighting
- architectural lighting; and
- decorative lighting.
