Leading, high service electronics distributor in Asia Pacific element14 (formerly Farnell) recently announced two Asia Pacific web awards for their suppliers during the Semicon 2012 show held in Singapore.
FCI and RECOM were recognised for delivering outstanding results in 2011 in achieving effective marketing campaigns and high engagement in the element14 Community site.
"We have been working closely with our industry-leading suppliers to launch dedicated marketing campaigns on both our e-commerce site and on the element14 Community, to connect more meaningfully with engineers in Asia Pacific on the wide range of solutions and products we offer," says William Chong, Regional Director of Supplier Marketing, element14 Asia Pacific.
"These valued suppliers have collaborated on a variety of innovative and effective programmes which have delivered exceptional results and we wanted to take this occasion at Semicon 2012 to acknowledge them," Chong adds.
FCI was awarded ‘Best Digital Marketing Campaign’ for their integrated use of multi-channels for new product introductions. The promotional campaigns for the FFC/FPC connectors and Terminal Block products were well received by engineers, resulting in increases online traffic, conversions and orders for its range of electronic products.
The ‘Most Effective Engagement on element14 Community’ award went to RECOM Power, thanks to the comprehensive and varied content such as videos and regular product updates which were highly appreciated by element14 Community members. This achievement award can also be attributed to their Roadtest programme which provide element14 online engineering community members the chance to personally test and review the latest products and provide their fellow engineers with valuable insights into the real-life application of products.
