Texas Instruments – MSP430G Mixed Signal Microcontrollers Series
Part of the MSP430 family of ultra low-power mixed signal microcontroller series with built-in 16 bit timer and ten I/O pins. TheMSP430G features different sets of peripherals targeted for various applications, as well as five low-power modes to assist long battery life in portable measurement purposes.
Analog Devices – ADP2138 and ADP2139 Step-down DC-to-DC Converter
High efficient, low quiescent current and synchronous step-down dc-to-dc converters with internal discharge switches to allow the regulator either to operate in PWM mode, in order to provide low peak-to-peak ripple for power supply noise sensitive loads, or to allow the component to automatically switch between operation modes depending on the load current level. The ADP2138 and ADP2139 also involves under-voltage lockout to prevent deep battery discharge and soft start to prevent input current over-shoot at startup.
