Bestech Australia introduces the new MRB20 piezo-resistive pressure sensors designed to meet the operational requirements of demanding and challenging pressure measurement applications.

Developed by MeasureX, a specialist provider of custom high quality sensors for general industrial applications, the new MRB20 piezo-resistive pressure sensor is highly versatile and can be used reliably in hostile operating conditions.

The MRB20 pressure transmitters can be used in applications involving production machinery; hydrology research; machine tool control; air conditioning monitoring; agricultural equipment; open cut mining; hydrostatic level control; hydraulic pumps; and compressed air lines.

Key features of the new MRB20 series industrial pressure transmitters include silicon membrane used as a sensing element at a competitive price; pressure ranges available from -1 to 600 bar with voltage or current outputs; 316L stainless steel body assuring media compatibility for gases and liquids; standard measuring accuracy of 0.5% full scale with custom options down to 0.1%FS; and ability for user to connect with digital outputs compliant with HART or MODBUS standards.

MRA21 OEM piezo-resistive pressure sensors from MeasureX have the ability to measure pressure up to 1000 bar with an mV output. Featuring a robust construction, and designed for long term application, OEM pressure transducers are often used in process control systems and power plants.

The MRB20 and MRB28 general purpose industrial pressure sensors from MeasureX have IP68 ingress protection rating, which means the electronic connectors are completely protected against dust and suitable for continuous immersion in water up to a specified pressure.
