Yokogawa signs global agreement with BP International
Yokogawa Electric Corporation has entered into a global agreement with BP International Limited, one of the large energy companies, to provide Main Automation Contractor Services (MAC services) for BP's exploration and production segment.
Under this arrangement, BP and Yokogawa have committed to achieving mutual success in the provision of MAC services by managing their business relationship in an open, performance focused, and collaborative manner with a shared desire to deliver good long term value.
Yokogawa products and services covered by this agreement include the CENTUM CS3000 integrated production control system, ProSafe-RS safety instrumented system, STARDOM network-based control system, Plant Resource Manager (PRM) plant asset management package, FAST/TOOLS SCADA software, Exa series productivity solution software, field instruments, project management and system integration engineering services and operation and maintenance services.
All of these product and service solutions are being provided under the umbrella of the VigilantPlant initiative to realise the Automation Blueprint as part of the Field of the Future distinctive technology program, achieving significant improvements in operating performance.
