The biannual Yokogawa Australasian User Group Conference will be held on May 10 – 11, 2010 at the Perth Exhibition Convention Centre, Western Australia.
This is the first time that Yokogawa has held their User Conference in the West. It coincides with the resources boom in that state, especially in the oil & gas and LNG fields. Attendance at the Conference will leverage Yokogawa’s recent successes with Chevron’s Gorgon LNG project and Inpex’s Ichthys LNG project, as well as other project work completed in WA.
The Conference will provide an opportunity for networking between users, and learning about technologies that will be applicable in each delegate’s own plant. Many sessions feature parallel conference streams so users can select sessions that suit their particular needs and interests.
Demonstration workshops will include close-up and in-depth looks at Fieldbus diagnostics, advanced graphics tools, alarm analysis techniques, advanced operational applications, instrument configuration tools, and instrument selection fundamentals. Yokogawa’s new wireless transmitter products will also be featured prominently.
Yokogawa Australia is the Australian branch of the company.
