Yokogawa, Fujitsu form strategic partnership


YOKOGAWA Electric Corporation and Fujitsu , respective leaders in compound semiconductor device technology and in optical transmission systems, have agreed to jointly develop core system technologies and key components for ultra high-speed optical transmission systems.

The companies recognise that, while there are continual improvements in network infrastructure, there is a need to accelerate the development of ultra high-speed optical transmission technology to meet increased demand for bandwidth.

By utilising their respective development resources to jointly develop technologies, Yokogawa and Fujitsu aim to achieve a faster transmission network infrastructure.
