THE CA71 Handy Calibrator is a small, lightweight, multifunction calibrator that can simultaneously source and measure voltage, current, resistance, TC, RTD, frequency, and pulse signals.
Available from Yokogawa , the CA71 incorporates a wide array of useful functions.
In addition to sourcing ( 4-20mA) and measuring current, the unit can sink up to 24mA as well as provide a 24Vdc power supply for transmitters. Output settings can be divided, eliminating the need to manually perform bothersome calculations for percentage output. Also included is an Auto step and Auto sweep function of output values.
There are 10 thermocouple types and two RTD types handled by the CA71, along with ability to measure ac voltage up to 300V - useful for checking the presence of mains voltage in a rack or cabinet.
Up to 50 data sets, measurement and source, can be stored in the CA71's internal memory for recall at a later time or for download to a PC for analysis using the separately supplied communications software.
The software also allows values to be set on the CA71 from the PC, along with realtime data transfer and conversion of data suitable for Microsoft Excel.
The CA71 is supplied complete with source/measure leads, mains adaptor, and carrying case. Optionally available is the software and PC communications cable plus an external RJ sensor for enhanced reference junction compensation.
