YALE Asia-Pacific has released two new electric pallet trucks -- the MPB040-E (1,800kg capacity) and MPW045-E (2,000kg capacity). The new trucks feature benefits for operators and service persons alike.

The re-designed ergonomic tiller handle is strong and durable. The handle has a large direction reversing safety switch, low effort steering and protection for the hands.

The well-positioned and shaped lift/lower buttons make light work for fingers and an optional creep speed button provides manoeuvrability in any application.

Both the MPB and MPW models have a low maintenance design with excellent service access, the convenience of an on-board battery charger, regenerative braking and transistor control.

Both models have reduced energy consumption via the separately excited motor (SEM) drive unit and transistor controls. These models have improved their reliability with a 40 per cent reduction in electrical connections from the old model.

The units come standard with three performance modes selectable by the operator or a fourth mode programmable by a Yale service technician.
