The Wormald Lay Flat Hose Training is ideal for members of an Emergency Response Team (ERT) required to fight larger than first-attack fires. The course aims to train participants on how to contain large fires until emergency services arrive.
The course covers hydrant types including above and below ground and the number of people required to operate 65mm and 38mm hose sizes.
The course covers a lot of equipment such as stand pipes, coupling types and spanners, adaptors, hose lengths and branch pipes and nozzles.
Participants also learn about the maintenance of hoses and the hazards associated with using lay flat hoses.
The one and a half hour course is conducted at companies’ premises, using the client’s equipment and is available in QLD, WA, NSW and VIC.
